Set the kiln temperature at 1,450°F (788°C), turn it on, and let it warm up.

With the triangle template and scribe, trace two 1" (2.5 cm) triangles on the fine silver sheet (figure 1).

Secure the sheet to the steel bench block with duct tape.

Use the decorative stamps and a chasing hammer or brass mallet to stamp the design onto the sheet metal.

Saw out the two triangles with the jeweler’s saw and saw blade.

File and then sand the edges of the triangles to make them smooth (figure 2).
